Peek-a-boo!

Over the past few weeks, Ethan has learned so many new things. He started walking a few weeks ago, and he loves practicing! (And we love seeing the huge smile on his face when he walks!) He also started clapping and waving. It's really cute when he waves - he gets really into it and uses his entire arm . Ethan has also been playing peek-a-boo more and more. Over the past few months, he's learned to pull a blanket over his face and then pull it off quickly to see our reaction. Then a few weeks ago, I bought a storage tub. Here's what happened when we put Ethan in it for the first time...

Now here are some pictures from the last month!

Dan was having fun with the camera and caught this cute smile:).

Now that Ethan can climb and walk, he loves playing in his crib and practicing his new skills.

"Look, Ma, no hands!"

My little guy is very focused and persistent. I was steaming some carrots for him in the kitchen, and Ethan kept trying to go up to the stove to watch. After pulling him out of the kitchen over and over again, I finally closed the kitchen door. But he knew what was on the other side, and he kept going up to the door, climbing it, and doing everything he could to get to the steaming carrots! Just before I took this picture, he had been staring and the door trying to figure out how to get past it:).

Grandpa Roth came over on Friday and we took Ethan to the park. Here's one of my strong little guy making his way along the rings (okay, so maybe he had a little help).

"No, Mom, I wasn't getting into trouble!"

Having fun in his duck bath. I love shaping his hair in wacky ways when it gets wet:)!

My little goofball:). Ethan pulled out one of the drawers from his toy storage unit, and decided that he could fit in it. He may not fit in it too well, but it sure was fun to watch him try!

Hanging out with Dad, trying to keep cool on a warm day.

Some more wacky hair:).

As many of you probably know, Charlotte and Myra are in town! The cousins got to play with each other for the first time (since Ethan wasn't really at the playing stage at Christmas). It was pretty entertaining to watch them together! They would take toys away from each other, climb all over each other...it was great! This is going to be a fun summer!

Well, that's all for now. Hope you enjoy the pics! And happy Father's Day to all the dads out there!

He's getting SO big! It's a lot of fun when they do more and more to interact with you. That duck is TOO cute, by the way! And I agree, wacky hair just out of the tub is a blast. We still do it with our boys.
